Aussies lose domains in Web host scandal

An unknown number of Australian companies and consumers have lost their Web sites -- and renewal fees -- hosted by a US-based company.

Web sites hosted by US-based Web host RegisterFly have been disappearing in dribs and drabs over the past year. The domains are "parked" -- generally when they have expired, but attempts to renew the domain by paying the fee mysteriously fail.

As every day passes, one has to wonder how Registerfly is still open for business and why?  Well, thanks to an insider that works closely with Kevin, we were able to squeeze a little information from this source as to just how much money Kevin is continuing to milk out of Registerfly customers that have no idea as to what's going on with the company.

ICANN gets temporary restraining order granted for Registerfly

As Registerfly continues to fly high, Today ICANN finally gets a little action in the courts with a Restraining Order issued by a US District Court Judge in California that orders Registerfly to give ICANN a copy of all customer related data effective immediately.  While this is a very important step in damage control, this does not stop or limit the damages that continue.  The big question is WHY?
