Here is what we found on the Registerfly website.

Registerfly information is hard to find on the net.  There's something very secretive about this company so you wont find much on the net about them.  After going to both UnifiedNames.com and Registerfly.com, they don't even claim each other or link to each other.  We as customers are beginning to understand why.

Registerfly Company Information

RegisterFly.com, inc. is an ICANN Accredited registrar. RegisterFly.com provides industry leading 24/7 Support via a variety of methods which includes, phone, email, ticket system. RegisterFly.com offers domain registrations as low as $2.99/ea and domain transfers for only $6.99. By adhering to our basic principals of low cost and value to our customers and excellent customer service we have grown to be one of the largest low cost registrars on the web today. In terms of number of customers and domains registered we are one of the 10th largest registrars in the world. We are not a "one man" shop (like many domain registrars and resellers) or a "here today gone tomorrow" business, we have invested substantially in positioning Registerfly.com as a global industry leader.

How can Registerfly  sell domains for so little?

"Our business model is based on high volume, low prices and keeping our overhead low. We do not believe in spending millions of dollars on ineffective advertising or being lavish. We have built a profitable, thriving business and owe it all to our customers. Our approach is to keep our eye on the bottom line while continuing to develop and offer new products and services to our customers, in other words, value for our customers.

Sure there are other registrars out there cheaper. Some actually are willing to make pennies over cost or worst yet lose money on each domain sold just for the sake of market share, NOT RegisterFly. We are in this business for the long haul.

This information was taken directly from the Registerfly about page."  - on Registerfly.com

Sean K - RegisterFly Stole my domain IP:71.224.86.28 | 2006-12-05 23:31:10
For the second time in what seems like as many months, I tried to register multiple domain names with RegisterFly and they failed to register. Last time it didnt matter because 3 days later (when they finally worked) all the names were available. This time (the second time the registrations failed) someone else bought one of my domains (guess what, the best one) in 2 hours. 2 hours later!!

So you mean in the history of the world wide web, no one wants this name. I go to register it on RegisterFly and it fails, 2 hours later a company in Nassau owns it. named Wan-Fu China, Ltd

Thank go you started this site. Please be more direct and tell us what to do.

Registerfly.com used to be competent a few years back. Now, nothing worky..worky.... their people are incompetent -- they can't even spell correctly.... they lie about their services... this the biggest rip out I've ever seen in the industry.... I am moving all my stuff to godaddy.com. They're good.

Registerfly Fraud - Enom is a Party Involved Direc Registered | 2007-02-06 23:31:32
ENOM SENARIO : they stole 10 of my domain names. this is a example of what they did in lay mans terms. This is a scandal that involves ENOm and a reseller of there services named Registerfly.

I OWN A WHOLESALE SHOP AND A RESELLER OF MY PRODUCTS IS ACROSS THE STREET. THE RESELLER SELLS MY ITEMS BUT TAKES OUT THE MOTORS RENDERING THE PRODUCT WORTHLESS. I KNOW THIS AND PLAY SILENT PARTNER ALLOWING THIS TO CONTINUE FOR YEARS. I SHARE IN THE PROFITS BY TAKING BACK THE GUTS OF THE PRODUCT CHANGING THE COLOR AND RESELLING IT AS NEW WHEN IN FACT IT STILL HAS THE PERSON THAT WAS RIPPED OFFED PURCHASE DATE (creation date) STILL ATTACHED.

meaning enoms now owns the domains and hides them in other countries.

Have been TRYING for two weeks to renew domain name - but no progress. Tried calling - no answer.
Automated email from them now states domain name is expired and pretty much not mine now. What gives? I used to really like registerfly, now I am sick to my stomach over this - and wondering now what is going to happen to the six other domains we have registered with them.

I think that Registerfly bosses will be on the run with big money very soon. Do not let that happens.

kidshady - All these issues! Registered | 2007-02-19 21:10:55
I have been with them for over a year now and There have been so many issues! First thing is their customer service One day I really needed their help with something when they were open "24 hours". I waited for two hours on the phone and fell asleep. When I woke up hours later the call was still on hold...

When I do actually get a hold of then there is someone who can hardly speak English and is in a huge hurry to get me off the phone. Last time I called he said there was a problem with their computers, call back in a few days

Now Im trying to pay and have my domains moved to Godaddy.com but they have them all locked. I looked in the domain settings to see if I can unlock them but it says they are unlocked so I have to try and get a hold of them somehow. Their whole site has been down for a while now so I dont know what to do about it.

I hope others dont have to learn the hard way! I recommend Godaddy, they answer the phone quick and actually are dedicated to helping you as long as it takes. I hope soon I will just be dealing with them!

I want to know what is going on now. What is Kevin Medina's current legal status? Is there going to be any legal action taken against him? Has he been arrested for fraud and theft? Thank you for providing any information, for I am baffled as to what, if any, ramifications will occur.
