Regain control over your RegFly (Tucows) domains

The WHOIS provided me with some valuable information. My domain was registered through Tucows on behalf of RegFly, thus RegFly being a Tucows reseller. I sent them a few emails through the form on http://domainhelp.opensrs.net/ No replies, so I decided to phone them.

The automatic answering machine told me that in case of not being able to renew domains I should send an email to compliance (at) opensrs (dot) org

60 day transfer prohibit - ICANN public participation

Could someone please clarify the 60 day Transfer Prohibited policy?

The
reason I ask is because GoDaddy claims that since I updated my contact
information on my domain, that resets the 60 day transfer prohibited
policy set forth by ICANN.

Lets hold the powers to be accountable for our domain names that they over charge us all for. Anyone else have their domain locked by enon? Regisf__k apparently used enon and now since I couldn't renew in April, I can't get my domain. Even though I am still listed in whois. How long after expiring do domains come free? Or do they ever?

RegisterFly - After 'nice' letter to customers, service still horrible or unavailable

John Naruszewicz wrote a nice little letter to his customers stating his desire to offer superior service from now on, and how keeping RegFly's current customer base as so important to them and thus their focus on unparralled service, and yada yada, yada.

This company is the worst domain registrar I've ever worked with. My story:
On 1/1/07 I received an email that my domain was going to expire on 1/6/07 and I needed to renew. I went to my RF account and renewed that day. I received 2 email messages that confirmed the renewal was successful and a message that the $8.99 was withdrawn from my account.
Cool, everything is done, I won't have to do anything for a year.
