Because... they 'dont have access to their help system' anymore... OR.. its just because they don't care about you and are overloaded by so many requests for help that they've given up. Or, Kevin Medina fired everyone again. Don't rely on them helping you via the ticket system.

Registerfly FAQ's

Go here and view a huge bunch of registrars and informal ratings in the namepros forum, by thousands of users. They are somewhat accurate and you can read up on tons of testimonials. Right now GoDaddy and Namecheap are many users top picks because they accept paypal.

NEWSFLASH: mydomain.com is offering an excellent deal to registerflies members. mydomain.com is a Dotster sudsidiary.

Also, in the coming days, check out this web site (RegisterFlies); we will be featuring a dedicated custom Registrar Reviews module.

Note: NameCheap is not ICANN-accredited; they are an eNom reseller.

Registerfly FAQ's
Thursday, 22 March 2007
PRE CHECKLIST
a) Check the whois and are sure they are unlocked (status: OK) - see FAQ #1
b) Change all your whois info back to your own
c) Make sure PROTECT FLY is turned off
d) Have your OWN email in the whois admin contact email spot
e) Have your auth codes ready

1) Go to your preferred registrar (NameCheap.com in this example) and log into your account and go to to bulk transfer. (You can also use GoDaddy if you want.. but they have some other navigation flow, this is mainly for namecheap but the steps are similar)

2) Type all of your domains into the bulk transfer and click submit. They should showed up as 'unlocked' and the registrar should confirm that you can transfer them, and then check out.

3) Go to the registrar's MANAGE TRANSFERS it should list the domains you are transferring. You have to then have you click each of the names and type in the AUTH CODE from RegisterFly and confirm it. I do that for each domain, the domain should confirm it is now in the transfer queue.

4)Soon, you should receive emails from the registrar wanting me to confirm the transfer. Click the link (or follow the instructions) inside the e-mail and accept the transfer. The registrar should confirm acceptance of the transfer.

5) Now just wait for the old regfly domains to transfer over to your new registrar.  REMEMBER: this can take up to 5 days. If regfly doesnt email you or properly contact ICANN (In many cases RegisterFly customers will not receive these transfer confirmations until ICANN forces the issue). They should automatically transfer by DEFAULT... whether regfly likes it or not. This is due to a new ICANN rule where unlocked domains will get transfered to another registrar after 5 days if no 'denial' email is responded to. So either way... in 6 days you should have your domains, barring technical issues!
