stop.pngGreat News! I believe we're moving in on Registerfly.  Yesterday I had received several emails from and individual and if you Read On, you will see what the email says.  I'm withholding the name of the sender due to privacy and until further notice.

Meanwhile I'm communicating with this individual to properly provide the information requested and creation of a form so that we can meet these requirements.  Please Read On!

"I have deposited the request at ICANN, January 6, 2007, to withdraw the status ''ICANN accredited registrar'' for REGISTERFLY, because otherwise ICANN would lend creditbility to REGISTERFLY marketing.

If more than 100 other Registerfly customers take part, ICANN will probably be obliged to consider to follow the request. The total customer damage is in my estimation between 2 mio. USD und 20 mio. USD. ICANN will probably not like to be legally involved in the responsibility for damage compensation. The only way not to be involved, is to withdraw the ''accredited'' status.

Is it possible to coordinate on your site such a joint withdrawal demand? (with all REGISTERFLY customers specifying their damage in time, lost money, lost business) I would formulate the standardized text modules, and all participants could add a description of their
specific horror story."

This is good news folks.  Registerflies, with the joint cooperation of our users, is in the process of stripping away that ICANN logo away from Registerfly.  We're going to win the battle with this bad company and I hope you are all as excited as I am about this.

Now, I suggest everyone move their domains out of Registerfly quickly.  Over the next couple months, things are going to get real nasty and it's important to get your names out otherwise you may lose them to a closed and Bankrupt Registerfly.  If you names are still showing as Enom on the Registration, contact Jennifer Bogren at Enom and she will help you to get these names in the right account and away from Registerfly.  Enom is not crooked and has no Relationship with Registerfly.  Contact Enom immediately if your name hasn't yet transferred to Registerfly out of Enom.

To check the Whois quickly, please visit:  Whois.sc

Soon, there will be a form for everyone to fill out and I'm in the process of preparing this.  Please be patient and this effort takes time and preparation.

Thank you all for your efforts. The battle isn't over but we're making progress. Please stay tuned and participate in pulling the ICANN logo from their site. I will design a form shortly that will automatically be submitted to the right departments in ICANN.

Thank you all for supporting these efforts against this unethical domain Registration company. Together we can accomplish more!

This will be great, not only will it serve a huge blow to a bad company but it will get the attention of other registrars so they will understand that they will be held accountable one way or another for abusing their privileges of being ICANN accredited.

How do I contact Jenniger at enom? Do you have an e-mail address or phone number?

Thanks for everything you are doing. I am 100% supportive and will help in any way I can.

Although I technically have no outstanding issues (I managed to transfer out my last domain yesterday), I would be happy to document my past experiences. I'll stand by for the form. --SJR

Can't wait to participate in this! Its the least we can do to let people know exactly how bad this company is at what they "do". All but one of my domains are OUT and the one that's left is stuck in expiration limbo thanks to RegisterFly's incompetance.

Call Enom and make arrangements with them. Once the domain is expired Enom charges $160 to renew it.. I believe. Make sure you get it in writing via email that the domain is able to be transferred into your enom account. Good Luck. Move on this quickly.

To contact enom, go to http:www.enom.com and find the contact information. Get the email for the person you talk to. They are more than willing to assist but their standard rate is high for this service. Just how it is.

Kind Regards,

Justin

It looks to me like the gripes are losing speed. Although this ICANN deal is a great one, I see that comments haven't been posted in the class action forum for some time, and write access is denied.

I'm only a tiny drop in the bucket, but I am losing sales- real hard cash deposits for wedding photography- every day my sites are down due to registerfly's redirection of sites I PAID AND WAS CHARGED FOR.

Can we have some sort of status report?

Thanks for all the work here!

You're welcome. As far as permissions, other have posted in the Class Action forum, not sure why you are unable to post because others are. There's a new post in there recently.

As far as an update, I'll be posting a form for everyone to fill out when I have the time to set it up. Not enough time is my problem.

Did you file your complaints with the listed resources on the front page? That's the first step.

Hopefully this weekend I can get the form up and then I can forward that information onto the proper places.

I went through the registration process here and all. ;) Official complaint already filed with ICANN and response has been received.

I gave them time to fix things up with me, they didn't. So, I started blogging about it. Thousands of hits just in the past 6 hours. I love it.

I did some searching, I found you all, I wanted to share. So, well, here's a link and I'll poke around the site a bit more and I'll happily document everything and everything.

(link to the blog about it if you don't mind)

if you ever get a reply from support on your ticket - DONTreply to the same ticket - they automaticalyl close them PERMENANTLY - even if you reply they dont get them as new problems. Live chats your best bet if its on when you vsist - but it appears to haev random times its on and when its not - and sometimes i can get into live chat in Firefox but not in Internet Explorer - yep how messed up is that!
