Am I correct in hearing that this video says the RegisterFly domains have now been moved to Tucows? If so, can Tucows provide us with Authorization Codes?
Or, does it simply mean that the actual 'RegisterFly.com' domain name itself is now hosted by Tucows?
If you look at the WHO IS records, you'll see that RegisterFly.com is no longer under RegisterFly.com - Oops! This is terrible sign this company is going to stay around. Leave now!
I just obtained my Auth Code from Registerfly. This is what I did:
1. Create a new Registerfly account, It's Free;
2. Return and log into old account;
3. Click on domain name(S) you want Auth Codes for;
4. At right you will see "Change of Ownership" Click on +
5. next click on "Internal Push to Other User";
6. Follow instructions and you should see Protectfly removed with Auth Code at the bottom of the page.

Does that only work if you had Protectfly? I have tried the internal shuffle and have gotten nowhere. There are four surviving names; I have unlocked all of them, had no protection for any of them, two have no auth codes, one has half of a code, and the last one I could not renew and it's now unreachable.

Right.. While mentioned method works great for removing whois protection, some domains DO NOT HAVE authorization codes at Registerfly (instead of normal code, there's displayed either 'RRP' or 'auth_code' letters.)
